Ringwood Hookups: Ringwood Women Want to Meet

Local hookups in a market town with Saxon roots

Ringwood has held a market every week since the Middle Ages, and the town is older still: the Anglo-Saxons founded it, on the River Avon close to the New Forest. About 12,800 people live in the built-up town and a little over 14,600 in the parish as a whole, which is a handy size for a hookup: big enough that you won't know everyone you pass, small enough that nobody is ever far away.

The other thing Ringwood has going for it is position. Bournemouth lies to the south-west and Southampton to the north-east, so the town sits between two big places and can borrow from both. A match from either is a sensible trip, and so is someone local who'd rather not meet on their own doorstep. The New Forest is close by as well, for a daytime walk once you've met properly.

Three short trips from Ringwood

Under six miles

Fordingbridge is the nearest town with a page of its own, close enough for a quick drink on a weeknight.

Under eight miles

Christchurch: agree on somewhere public, and let whoever's making the trip choose it.

Under ten miles

Bournemouth: keep the first meeting to a drink rather than a whole evening, so either of you can call it early.

Whichever way you head, tell a friend your plans and sort your own way home. And if you swipe left on a Ringwood local too quickly, a rewind is one of the VIP features.
