Start on Classic and see who's out there
Everyone joins on Classic membership, and there is no charge for it. Classic gives you a profile and photos, browsing and daily matches near you, plus a limited number of messages to send each day. When a VIP member messages you, you can read it and reply.
That's enough to get a feel for who's around and start a conversation or two. VIP is for when you want to message as many people as you like; VIP Plus is for when you want your profile seen first as well. Every feature is laid out on our features page.

VIP: say hello to anyone you like
VIP takes the daily message limit away, so you can talk to as many people as you want. It also brings advanced search filters (city, distance and what people are open to), the members-only chat rooms, private group chats with as many as 50 people, a list of everyone who likes you, rewind for your swipes and priority for your comments.
VIP Plus: get noticed first
VIP Plus includes everything in VIP, then adds a place at the top of the match stack, priority placement for your messages and likes, and exclusive matches. VIP Plus members can also buy profile boosts and Super Match as add-ons, for the nights you want more eyes on your profile or one message to stand out.

Know exactly when you'll pay again
Every plan renews automatically at the same price, except the 12-month plans, which do not renew. A month of VIP costs £29.96 and renews at £29.96 each month until you cancel. A week of VIP Plus carries on at £15.99 a week in just the same way.
The two 12-month plans work differently. You pay once, £155.91 for VIP or £208.05 for VIP Plus, and when the year is up the plan ends. If you want VIP again after that, you choose a new plan.
To stop a weekly, monthly, 3-month or 6-month plan renewing, cancel it from your account before the renewal date.
Try VIP for a week, or settle in for less
- Choose what you want more of. If it's conversations, VIP does the job. If you'd like your profile seen first as well, go for VIP Plus.
- Try it for a week. A week of VIP is £14.99: time enough to message whoever catches your eye and see who likes you back. It renews weekly until you cancel.
- Stay longer, pay less a week. A month of VIP works out at £6.99 a week, 3 months at £4.99 and 6 months at £3.99. The 12-month plan is the lowest weekly cost of all at £2.99, paid once, with no renewal.

Yes, at the same price, until you cancel. That covers the 1-week, 1-month, 3-month and 6-month plans for both VIP and VIP Plus. The 12-month plans are the exception.

Can I message people without going VIP?
Yes, up to a daily limit. Classic lets you send a limited number of messages each day, and anything a VIP or VIP Plus member sends you can be opened and answered. VIP simply lifts the limit.
How do I stop a plan renewing?
Cancel it from your account before the renewal date and it won't renew. A 12-month plan doesn't renew in the first place, so there's nothing to cancel.
Why does a weekly plan cost more per week?
Longer plans are priced lower per week. A week of VIP costs £14.99, while a monthly plan works out at £6.99 a week and a 12-month plan at £2.99 a week. A week suits a quick try; if you plan to stick around, a longer plan costs less for every week you get.
