Cleator Moor Hookups: Cleator Moor Women Want to Meet

Cleator Moor hookups, in the town they call Little Ireland

Cleator Moor has a nickname, Little Ireland, and the history to back it up.

The town was built on the moorland north of Cleator village in the 19th century, around mining and the iron trade, and so many Irish families arrived in the second half of that century that the name stuck. The parish was plain Cleator until it was renamed Cleator Moor in 1934, and the old village is now counted as part of the same built-up area.

Dent Fell rises over the town, which sits on the 190-mile Coast to Coast Walk, so a stranger in the street is nothing new in a place of about 7,000 people. That suits a first meeting nicely: nobody looks twice at two people having a drink, and you can decide in your own time whether the evening goes anywhere.

Egremont is next door and the rest are a drive

1. Start next door. Egremont is under three miles away, near enough that an afternoon message can still turn into a drink that evening.
2. Stretch the evening. Cockermouth is about eleven and a half miles off and Maryport about thirteen and a half, and either works as a halfway point for a match who lives that side. Keswick is a little over sixteen.
3. Keep it public. Name the place to a friend, work out your own way home before you leave, and give our hookup safety tips a read. The locations page lists every town around Cleator Moor that has a page of its own.
