Aspatria Hookups: Aspatria Women Want to Meet

Aspatria hookups, with Skiddaw on one side and the Solway on the other

Aspatria is a long, thin town. It stretches about two miles along the A596 between Carlisle and Workington, on the north side of the Ellen Valley, and from up there the view runs south to Skiddaw and north to the Solway Firth.

About 2,500 people live here, five miles from the coast at Allonby and on the fringe of the Lake District. The town has its own railway station, a Roman road once passed through the hamlet, and the parish church, rebuilt in 1848, still keeps fragments of masonry and crosses from the buildings that stood on the site before it.

Nothing about the place is flashy, which is a point in its favour. A hookup here is two adults, a plan and a bit of road, and your profile shows only your username and your nearest town, so the rest of the valley doesn't need to know a thing.

Three towns, each about eight miles off

Aspatria sits close to evenly between three neighbours: Maryport to the south-west, Wigton to the north-east and Cockermouth to the south.

• Cockermouth, 7 miles
• Maryport, 8 miles
• Wigton, 8 miles

That makes the town a fair halfway point for a match from any of them, and the station helps if you would rather not drive. The A596, the road the town is strung along, runs west to Workington and east to Carlisle, which is about 18 miles off, and Keswick is about 14. Whoever travels, pick a public place, tell a friend, and read the safety page and the locations page before you set off.
