From Cromer Pier to the Wensum: where to meet
Norwich is the county's main centre for business and culture, and a student city too. The University of East Anglia is on its outskirts, Norwich University of the Arts is spread across seven buildings around St George's Street beside the River Wensum. If you want the most going on around you, start there.
Out on the coast, the Pavilion Theatre at the end of Cromer Pier is known for its end-of-the-pier show and also puts on comedy and music, while Great Yarmouth's Britannia Pier has a theatre of its own. By day, the 3,000-acre deer park at Holkham Hall or a long walk on the sand gives you time to talk with nobody listening in.
