King's Lynn Hookups: King's Lynn Women Want to Meet

No-strings fun for adults in Lynn and right across West Norfolk.

King's Lynn hookups for the whole of West Norfolk

Until 1537 it was Bishop's Lynn, and locals still just call it Lynn. It's a port and market town of about 48,000 people, five miles inland from The Wash, and it has long lived off the water, with fishing and seafood (inshore prawns, shrimps and cockles above all) and an import trade, alongside glass-making and food processing. Steam engines and fairground engines were built here once, and in 2008 the port grew faster than any other in Great Britain.

Norwich is 44 miles east, Cambridge 44 to the south and Peterborough 36 to the south-west, and much of what lies between is sparsely populated: in 2007 the whole borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk had about 143,500 people, roughly one to every hectare. That makes Lynn the regional centre, and it shapes how sex in King's Lynn works: the town has the people, but a match may well live out in the villages. A profile that says Lynn reaches all of them.

Lynn's matches stretch from Skegness to Ipswich

With so much open country around the town, our figures here cover 60 miles, taking in Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Bedford, Peterborough, Lincoln, Skegness and Wisbech. Inside that circle a third of our members are 18 to 24, the biggest group, and nearly a quarter are 25 to 34, so well over half are under 35. Past 35 the numbers taper: a fifth in the 35 to 44 bracket, roughly an eighth aged 45 to 54, a tenth at 55-plus. Just over a quarter are women.

A first stroll on the Walks

The Walks were laid out as a promenade where townspeople could get away from the smell and grime of the centre, and they still make an easy first meeting in Lynn. They cover 17 hectares in the middle of town, they're the only 18th-century town walk left anywhere in Norfolk, and they take in the Red Mount, a Grade I listed chapel from the 1400s. £4.3 million went into restoring them and adding modern facilities, and since 1998 they've been listed as a national historic park.

For a second outing, Harding's Pits, south of the town, is an informal open space whose large sculptures tell Lynn's story. The town has had a taste for culture for a while, too: it launched its own festival of the arts in 1951.

First meetings: somewhere public, a friend in the loop, your own way home. Our hookup safety tips cover the rest.

Closer than Norwich: Downham, Wisbech and Swaffham

Downham Market is ten miles away and Wisbech, over the line in Cambridgeshire, about eleven and a half. Swaffham is about 14, Holbeach in Lincolnshire about 16, and March and Fakenham both just under 20, with Spalding and Dereham around 23. Out here, any of them counts as close to home, and the villages in between, such as Terrington St Clement four miles west of town, count as next door.

Lynn hookups, worked out

How far will I have to travel from King's Lynn?

That depends on who you click with. Lynn is the main town for a sparsely populated area, so our figures here run to 60 miles, out to Norwich, Cambridge, Lincoln and Skegness. Downham Market and Wisbech are both within about twelve miles if you'd rather keep it closer.

Are there women looking for sex in King's Lynn?

Yes. Women make up just over a quarter of the members in our 60-mile circle around Lynn. With that much ground to cover, set a distance you'd honestly drive and let your daily matches sort by it.

What makes a relaxed first date in Lynn?

A stroll on the Walks, which were laid out for exactly that, then a drink in town. It's public, it's central, and it's easy for either of you to call it a night. If it goes well, the sculptures at Harding's Pits make a good excuse for a second walk.
