Gloucestershire Hookups: Gloucestershire Women Want to Meet

Sex in Gloucester, fun in Cheltenham, and no strings anywhere in the county.

Gloucestershire hookups either side of the Severn

Cotswolds to the east, the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley to the west, and the Severn running down the middle: that's Gloucestershire in one line. The river comes in near Tewkesbury in the north, runs through a broad vale in the centre of the county and opens out into a wide tidal estuary. It's mainly rural, with about 976,000 people on 1,220 square miles.

The busy core is a pair of neighbours. Gloucester, the city and the largest place, sits in the north-centre, and the spa town of Cheltenham is immediately to its east, so a match in one is close to the other. Around them, Stroud holds the centre, Cirencester the east and Yate the south, while the far south, Filton and Kingswood included, is part of Bristol's built-up area.

A third women, from Bristol to Oxford

About a third of our members in and around Gloucestershire are women, a higher share than the UK-wide figure. The ages spread wide: the 25 to 34s are the biggest group at around a quarter, with the 35 to 44s close behind; the 18 to 24s come in under a fifth, and the over-45s add up to roughly three in ten.

Tewkesbury is the in-county name among their home towns; the rest ring the county, from Bristol, Bath and Chippenham to Swindon, Upper Stratton and Oxford, with Chepstow over the Welsh border. With matches that spread out, say on your profile how far you'll travel.

Cathedral walks, castles and heritage railways for a first date

A walk round the city
Gloucester Cathedral and the docks, where the University of the West of England has a centre in the Alexandra Warehouse, or Cheltenham Minster on the other side of the pair. The University of Gloucestershire has campuses in both towns.
A castle or a country house
Berkeley, Sudeley and Beverston castles, Badminton House, Dyrham Park and Chavenage House are all in the county, along with Hailes Abbey and Owlpen Manor.
A ride on a heritage line
The Dean Forest Railway and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway both run in the county, an easy daytime plan that leaves the evening open.
A walk in spring
The Daffodil Way in the Leadon Valley, around Dymock on the Herefordshire border, is known for its spring flowers, orchards and woodland, and Rodborough and Minchinhampton Commons give you room for a longer walk.

Daytime plans like these make a sensible first meeting: public, easy to leave and simple to tell a friend about. The hookup safety tips add the rest.

Choosing where to look in Gloucestershire

Should I look in Gloucester or Cheltenham?

Both. Cheltenham sits immediately east of Gloucester, so set your nearest town to whichever one you live in and a sensible distance will take in the other. Stonehouse, under eight miles from the centre of Gloucestershire, is another easy place to meet.

Do Bristol members count for south Gloucestershire?

They do. The far south of the county, including Filton and Kingswood, is part of Bristol's built-up area, and Bristol is one of the places our members around Gloucestershire come from. If you live near Yate, a distance setting that reaches into the city widens your choice.
