Stonehouse Hookups: Stonehouse Women Want to Meet

Casual hookups for Stonehouse, Bridgend and Ryeford, with Stroud next door.

Get together in Stonehouse by road or rail

For a Stroud District town of about 7,500 people, Stonehouse is easy to get in and out of, and when you're arranging a hookup with someone from out of town, that's half the battle.

  • M5 junction 13, 2.5 miles
  • Trains to London
  • Stroud, 4 miles east
  • Gloucester, 9 miles north

Recent building has even joined it partly onto Stroud, so Stonehouse now runs into the Ebley district, and the town takes in Bridgend to the south and Ryeford to the east. A Stonehouse match might live in one of the sub-villages, on the edge of Stroud or a train ride away, and none of them is far.

Close to half of Stonehouse's matches are women

Around Stonehouse, the split between men and women is close to even. Women account for nearly half of our members within 25 miles, against about three in ten across the site. The ages lean mature as well: more than a third are 45 or over, and one in five is 55 or older. A little over a quarter are 25 to 34, which makes them the single largest band, and about one in seven is under 25. Home towns include Gloucester and Tewkesbury, Bristol and Avonmouth, Chippenham and Upper Stratton, and Chepstow and Wolvesnewton.

Let the train bring your date to you

Stroud is the obvious partner town, about three and a half miles away and joined on at Ebley. Dursley is under six miles off, and Gloucester, a little over eight, is where to head when you fancy a city. Wotton-under-Edge and Berkeley are both around eight and a half.

The station earns its keep, too. With a regular service on the line to London, a match from further along it can come to you without a car, and neither of you has to think about driving after a drink. Agree the plan on the site before anyone sets off, and make the first meeting a public one.

Blocking someone stops them contacting you for good; our safety page explains how that and reporting work.
