Horncastle Hookups: Horncastle Women Want to Meet

Hookups in Horncastle, where the Roman wall still stands

A section of Roman wall still stands in Horncastle, and it is listed Grade I.

It is one of well over a hundred listed buildings and structures in a market town in East Lindsey, 17 miles east of Lincoln, that grew from about 6,800 people at the 2011 census to about 7,300 at the 2021 one. The Old Court House on Louth Road dates from 1865, the former town hall began life as a drill hall around 1903, and a centre in the town commemorates the botanist who lived at nearby Revesby Abbey.

That gives a first meeting plenty to point at, and the setting is as much countryside as town. The Lincolnshire Wolds lie to the north and the fens to the south, with the southern end of town called Cagthorpe and villages such as West Ashby, Low Toynton and Mareham on the Hill scattered around. Between them those villages don't add up to a long list of matches, so the picture below takes a wider view.

Meet in Louth, or take the A158 to Lincoln or Skegness

Horncastle sits near the A158, the main road between Lincoln and Skegness. Woodhall Spa is only seven miles away, and among our town pages Louth comes first, about twelve miles off, then Lincoln at about seventeen and a half and Skegness at nearly twenty.

The Viking Way meets the River Waring nearby, which makes a walk an easy thing to add to a second date. For the first, keep it short and in town, let a friend know where you are, and read the hookup safety tips if your match is coming a long way.
