Chatteris Hookups: Chatteris Women Want to Meet

Casual sex for adults in Chatteris, in the Fens between Huntingdon, March and Ely.

Casual sex in Chatteris, the town that used to be an island

Before the Fens were drained, Chatteris stood on a raised island in a low-lying wetland.

Then: a settlement since the Neolithic, a place in the Domesday Book of 1086, and, once the draining of the Fens was finished in the 19th century, a town whose living came from farming and the industries around it.

Now: several fires in the 18th and 19th centuries mean most of the housing is late Victorian or newer, and the tower of the parish church is the only medieval building left.

Today Chatteris is a commuter town of 11,011 people, set in the Fens between Huntingdon, March and Ely, with Cambridge and Peterborough within reach as well. People here are used to travelling for work, which is a handy habit for a hookup: meeting someone a town or two away is nothing new.

Women are a little over a quarter of the circle, a touch below the three in ten site-wide, which is a good reason to cast the net wide.
