Soham Hookups: Soham Women Want to Meet

Casual sex for adults in Soham, with Ely five miles off and a station that's back in business.

Casual sex in Soham, now the station is back

Soham started out wet.

An article from 1899 traced the name to an Anglo-Saxon word for swampy ground, and Eye Hill, Eau Fen and Soham Mere all point back to a time when today's farmland was little more than a watery waste. These days 12,336 people live here, just off the A142 between Ely and Newmarket.

Travel is the part that has changed. Trains stopped calling in 1965, and after local campaigns the station reopened in December 2021, on the line that runs between the Midlands and Ipswich. The 112 bus also links Ely and Newmarket through the town, though it's worth checking the timetable before you count on it for the way home. For a hookup that matters more than any landmark, because getting to your date and back is half the plan.
