Buckinghamshire Hookups: Buckinghamshire Women Want to Meet
Casual sex and no-strings nights for adults across Bucks, from the Chiltern Hills to the Vale of Aylesbury.
Bucks hookups, from the hills to the new city
Trace the River Ouzel on a map and you have most of Buckinghamshire in one line.
It rises in the Chiltern Hills in the south, crosses the flat farmland of the Vale of Aylesbury, runs through Milton Keynes and finally joins the Great Ouse at Newport Pagnell. Around 885,000 people live in the county, and it splits into three quite different places to look for a hookup.
- The Chilterns and the south
- From the Thames on the southern boundary the ground rises gently into the Chiltern Hills, which top out at 267 metres on Haddington Hill in Wendover Woods. This is a prosperous slice of the London commuter belt, and High Wycombe and Chesham are among the larger towns in this part of the county.
- The Vale of Aylesbury
- On the far side of the hills the slopes drop more steeply into low, open farmland that the Ouzel crosses on its way north. Aylesbury, one of the county's largest towns, gives the vale its name.
- Milton Keynes
- The largest settlement of all is the city in the north-east, which runs as its own unitary authority. Many national companies have their headquarters or a big base there.
Matches from Milton Keynes to Slough
Under-45s make up more than three-quarters of our members in and around Buckinghamshire. Almost a third are still under 25, around a fifth fall in the 25 to 34 bracket, and a full quarter are 35 to 44; the 45 to 54s add roughly one in seven, with the over-55s under one in ten. A little over a quarter are women. They're drawn from both sides of the county line: Milton Keynes, of course, and Slough, Oxford and Didcot, Luton, Watford, London Colney and Uxbridge. For someone in Bucks, that means a match could just as easily come from the next county as from the next village.

Easy first meetings in the Chilterns and the Vale
After Milton Keynes, the largest places are Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Chesham, and any of their centres does the job for a first drink with other people about. High Wycombe, long the county's furniture-making town, is also its most diverse.
Bucks is good daytime country as well. Coombe Hill near Wendover looks out from 260 metres, the Ridgeway Path passes through, and a handful of grand houses are open to the public, among them Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury, West Wycombe Park and Cliveden, while Stowe's landscaped gardens lie near Buckingham. The annual Bucks County Show, dating back to 1859, puts you among a crowd. Do the first meeting in plain sight, with someone back home who knows the address; our safety page covers blocking and reporting.
What people in Bucks ask us
Does Milton Keynes count as Buckinghamshire?
It does. The city is the largest settlement in the ceremonial county, even though it has its own council, and it's one of the places our members around Bucks come from. Newport Pagnell, where the Ouzel meets the Great Ouse, has a page of its own.
Will people in a small Chiltern town spot my profile?
They'll see a username and your nearest town, not your name, email or street. If someone from Wendover or Princes Risborough turns out to be a little too close to home, you can block them and they can't contact you again.
