Bradninch is twinned with Landunvez in Brittany and Downingtown in Pennsylvania, which looks good on paper and does nothing for your Friday night.

Closer to home, it's a small town, parish and manor of about 2,165 people, around three miles south of Cullompton. Cullompton is only two and a half miles away, so a date with someone from there is barely a trip, though your social circles may overlap more than you'd like. Tiverton is about six miles and Exeter about eight, which makes the city the obvious choice if you'd both like a bit of anonymity. Honiton is just over ten miles, Sidmouth about 12 and Exmouth 14.
