Edmonton Hookups: Edmonton Women Want to Meet

Casual meets for adults in Edmonton, from the Green to the Angel and out to the Lea Valley.

Edmonton hookups start at the Green or the Angel

Edmonton comes in two halves, each with a centre of its own and a postcode to go with it. The northern half is Lower Edmonton and the southern half Upper Edmonton, and between them they held about 82,000 people at the 2011 count, in the London Borough of Enfield.

Edmonton Green, N9
Lower Edmonton, the northern half. A shopping centre with a market, and a leisure centre with a pool and sports hall that opened in 2007.
The Angel, N18
Upper Edmonton, the southern half. A high street with a wide range of shops.

Away from the shops, the Lea Valley takes over. Pymmes Park and Jubilee Park are the two largest public parks, the Pymmes Brook Trail crosses town to meet the Lea Valley Walk at Picketts Lock, and the River Lee Navigation towpath carries National Cycle Route 1. Plenty of ways to get outside, then, if you'd rather skip the bar tab for a first meeting.

Daylight first, then see where it goes

For a first meeting, choose somewhere busy and in daylight. Edmonton Green has a shopping centre and a market, so you can stay in a crowd while you work out whether there's a spark. If there is, a walk round Pymmes Park or along the towpath is an easy way to keep talking.

Or change the scenery entirely. Tottenham is 1.6 miles to the south, Enfield 2.2 miles to the north and Chingford about two and a half to the east. Tell a friend where you'll be, and read our safety page if it's your first time meeting someone from the site.
