Maidenhead Hookups: Maidenhead Women Want to Meet

From the Cookhams to Taplow, casual sex in Maidenhead and along the Elizabeth line.

Over the bridge and back: Maidenhead hookups

Walk across Maidenhead Bridge and you've changed county. The Thames is the border with Buckinghamshire here, and the bridge, built in 1777, carries the A4 over to Taplow. Maidenhead is the Berkshire side: a market town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, with about 67,000 people in its built-up area, 27 miles west of central London and 13 east-north-east of Reading.

It's a town of neighbourhoods, from North Town and Furze Platt to Pinkneys Green, Boyn Hill and Cox Green, with the three Cookhams to the north and Taplow and Burnham over the water. That spread is handy if you're after a hookup: a lot of people live within a few miles of each other, and a first meeting doesn't need to be on anyone's own street.

Maidenhead's members run younger than the town

The town's median age is 40, but the people on our site within 25 miles of it are younger. Nearly six in ten are under 35, the two youngest bands almost exactly matched, while about a third are 35 to 54 and under one member in ten has passed 55. Close to three in ten are women.

That circle runs well into London. Hammersmith and Hampstead are among the places our members come from, along with Hounslow, Uxbridge, Watford and London Colney, Camberley and Didcot.

Meeting someone in Maidenhead, by river or by rail

The station makes an easy landmark, with the clock tower outside it built for a royal jubilee. Great Western main line and Elizabeth line trains stop here, with direct services through Paddington and on towards Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Shenfield and Abbey Wood, so a match from the city can reach you without changing.

For a daytime first meeting, Boulter's Lock on the east side of town, next to Ray Mill Island, puts you right by the river. If you'd rather meet away from home, Marlow is four miles off, and Slough and Windsor are both under six.

Whatever you choose, the first meeting belongs somewhere with other people around, and a friend should know the when and the where. Before you go, give our safety page a quick read.
