Three easy places to say hello in Ludlow

Castle Square: The top of the old town, so it is easy to describe and easy to find. A steep road drops from here to the Teme, a ready-made walk if the first ten minutes go well.
Dinham: The western corner of the old town, still village-like with the castle looming over it. A good one for a daytime stroll.
The Assembly Rooms: An arts and cinema centre with a film on most evenings, plus live music, theatre, stand-up and talks. Better for a second meeting than a first, since nobody chats through a film.
