Out of Brigg by the A18, the M180 or the bus

Getting about from Brigg mostly means the road. The A18 runs east to west through the town, the A1084 heads south-east to Caistor, and the M180 skirts Brigg with the longer-distance traffic, the A15 between Lincoln and Hull included. The town's few bus services mostly run to Scunthorpe, under seven miles west, stopping at villages on the way.

Barton-upon-Humber is under ten miles from Brigg and Immingham about twelve; Market Rasen, Corringham, Epworth and Crowle are all within 15, and Hull is just under 15 miles to the north. With Grimsby 17 miles east and Lincoln 22 south, Brigg makes a fair halfway point for matches on any side.
