Bicester Hookups: Bicester Women Want to Meet

Hookups for adults in Bicester, a growing town with trains to Oxford and London.

Hookups in Bicester, with London a train ride away

Bicester has long been about getting somewhere. Two Roman roads crossed here, Akeman Street and the route from Dorchester to Towcester. The A41 runs through the town today, linking it to Aylesbury, the M40 and the A34, and there are direct trains to Oxford, London and Birmingham, with East West Rail under construction to add Milton Keynes and Cambridge.

The RAF arrived in 1917 and a major ordnance depot in 1942, and the town grew quickly after the war; it is still one of the fastest-growing towns in Oxfordshire. Visitors come for the Bicester Village shopping centre, while the historic centre, a conservation area, has a local market and lots of independent shops and restaurants.

Growth on that scale means newcomers, which is good news if you're after a hookup: more people still finding their feet, and fewer familiar faces on every corner. And Oxford is only 11 miles away when you fancy a change of scene.

Women make up a third of Bicester's circle

Coventry and Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford, Luton, Watford, Uxbridge and Oxford: all of them fall inside the 40 miles we measure from Bicester.

About a third of our members inside it are women, a higher share than across the UK. The largest age group is 35 to 44, close to three in ten, followed by the 25 to 34s at a little under a quarter and the under-25s at about a fifth. Just under a fifth are 45 to 54, and only around one in ten is 55 or over.
