Banchory Hookups: Banchory Women Want to Meet

Where two rivers meet, adults can too: casual hookups in Banchory and across Aberdeenshire.

Two rivers, one town and Aberdeen down the road

Banchory sits where the River Feugh runs into the Dee, about 18 miles west of Aberdeen. It is a burgh in Aberdeenshire, though it once belonged to Kincardineshire, and it answers to Banchry in Scots and Beannchar in Gaelic. Two rivers meeting makes a fair omen for a first date, and you are welcome to use the line.

For a hookup, the sums are simple. A town of roughly 7,400 can't offer a big dating pool on its own, but the city is a drive to the east, and the members nearest to you come from Aberdeen, Dyce and Old Aberdeen. Treat Banchory as home base and Aberdeen as the pool, and the numbers start working in your favour.

One more thing about a place this size: you may well share a friend or two with a match, so decide in advance what you are happy for people to know.

Aberdeen, Dyce and Old Aberdeen are within reach

Banchory is too small to read a local picture from, so here is the Scottish one: just over a quarter of our members across Scotland are 45 or over, the under-25s and the over-55s are about a tenth each, and women make up roughly two in five. Matches from Aberdeen are well within reach.

Choose your direction: Aberdeen, Inverurie or Insch

Fancy the city? Aberdeen is the obvious pull, 18 miles east, and the place our nearest members call home. Would you rather keep things smaller? Inverurie is about 17 miles off and Insch about 21, which puts a little space between your date and the neighbours. Brechin and Montrose, both 23 miles away, suit a match coming from the Angus side, and Ellon, Huntly and Forfar are there for anyone happy to make a proper trip of it.

Wherever you land, meet in public, let someone know your plans, and have the trip back worked out before you set off, because 18 miles feels longer at the end of a good evening. The features page shows what you can do on the site before you meet anyone at all.
