Colne Hookups: Colne Women Want to Meet

Hookups in Colne, where the motorway gives up

Colne is where the M65 runs out of road, and where the East Lancashire railway line runs out of track.

From here two main roads carry on, the A56 towards Skipton and the A6068 towards Keighley, and the town sits close to the southern entrance of the Aire Gap, the lowest crossing of the Pennine watershed. About 20,000 people live in this Pendle market town, which borders Nelson, Barrowford, Foulridge, Blacko, Laneshaw Bridge and Trawden Forest.

This is the Lancashire Colne, not the Colne Valley near Huddersfield, an unrelated place with a similar name, so choose your nearest town with care when you build your profile.

End of the line? Meet halfway instead

Colne station is the last stop on the East Lancashire line, which makes it an easy place to be met, but your match doesn't have to ride all the way to the end. Burnley is about five miles away and Barnoldswick a little over four, with Nelson three miles off and Padiham seven. The A56 reaches Skipton, nine and a half miles away, and the A6068 runs on to Keighley. Clitheroe, Todmorden and Accrington all sit within about eleven miles, and Preston is 25 miles west.

Pick a spot with people about, leave word with a friend and book your own ride home. Our hookups near me page explains how to set your nearest town, which is what other members see in place of your address.
