Alsager is under three miles away on the Cheshire side, Congleton about five and a half, and Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent both about six. Sandbach and Madeley are around seven, Crewe eight and a half and Leek nine. That is a lot of towns inside ten miles for a place this size.
